Beautiful custom OLED artwork shown at CES

A company (we don’t know the name of which) is doing some custom art-work using OLED displays. Some of this stuff is beautiful – Chinese inspired paintings in a boat-looking thing, a Chinese fan, and OLED flowers. These works are very pricey – up to $100K. The flowers however are just $100 each.

LG’s OLED TV spotted in a Korean store

LG’s 15" OLED TVs are on sale now in Korea (for around $2500 ). Here’s a short clip showing it on display in one of Seoul department stores: Interestingly, they just sell it as “LG OLED TV”, without a model name or number…

Comparing the Samsung Omnia II’s OLED vs the Nokia N900 LCD

Here’s a nice video comparing Samsung’s Omnia II AMOLED display (3.7", 480×800) to the Nokia N900′s 3.5" LCD. The AMOLED is on the left, and you can see that it’s brighter, and has much better colors and contrast:

Samsung has produced a nice short commercial for the Omnia II phone, in which they mention the OLED display (which is 3.7" 480×800). They pronounce it AH-MOLED:
