Dow Electronic Materials, a business unit of Dow Advanced Materials, today held an opening ceremony to inaugurate its new OLED Electronic Materials facility in Cheonan, Korea. The facility will supply leading-edge emissive materials to serve the rapidly growing active matrix OLED market. The opening ceremony was held at the Cheonan, Korea manufacturing facility and was attended by Jerome A. Peribere, president and CEO of Dow Advanced Materials, and regional government officials from South Chungchong Province and Cheonan City. read more

Visionox a chinese company is ready to start there trial production AMOLED line in Kunshan. Visionox want to produce 3 to 12 inch panels and later they will expand to 12 to 17 inch OLED devices for Netbooks, Notebooks, computer monitors. Lumiotec plans to deliver an OLED lighting sample kit with panel, controller, and AC adapter. In Japan the OLED lighting kits are available at 15.02.2010 at the Lumiotec Website.
