Idemitsu aquire 33 Percent of Global OLED Technology LLC

Idemitus Kosan a japanese oil refiner announced that they signed an agreement to aquire 32.73 percent of Global OLED Technology LLC. Global OLED Technology is a US company which have over 2000 patents related to the OLED Technology . Global OLED was established by LG Corp. of South Korea in December 2009 to acquire patents from Eastman Kodak Co. , according to Idemitsu. Source: Idemitsu

Source: cnwnews I remembered that I saw this one at the Mall while strolling around with my kids. I asked the Sales Lady if it has an OLED but the Girl seems no idea what am I talking about. The same is true for mobile Phone market, that a large number of new phones to market makes the consumer become more extensive by choice

Beijing December 22, according to foreign media reports, a market research firm DisplaySearch recently released “Quarterly OLED shipments and forecast report” (Quarterly OLED Shipment and Forecast Report) noted that the third quarter of this year, the world’s OLED (Organic light-emitting displays) revenues reached 252 million U.S. dollars, development of 31%; shipment volume of 21.7 million, development of 19%.

Sony KDL-ZX 27-inch OLED-TV

There are some new rumors that Sonys KDL-ZX OLED series starts with an 27 inch size at CES-2010. The leaked information has come from a 24-page document from Sony outlining what will be on show at the CES 2010 in Las Vegas. The KDL-Zx is still at Beta stage, and not ready for the market.
