The first Windows-Phone-7 smartphones are now on the market. Today we show you the difference between Samsungs Omnia-7 with a 4 inch Super-Amoled against the LG Optimus 7 with LCD-Tft technology . We show you also some picture from the Samsung Omnia 7 in direct sunlight. Super-Amoled has a much better contrast ratio, better colours, and is much better in direct sunlight. Microsoft want Amoled for all Windows-Phone-7 smartphones but the OLED demand at the moment is to high. read more

LG Display will invest 225.7 Million Dollars in their new OLED mass production lines. Today LG Displays Vice president announced that in 2012 the new 5.5 gen, 3-line production system is ready to mass produce 50 inch OLED-Tv panels with one production line. read more

LG Group announced that they will concentrate on four areas when it comes to R&D investments: solar cells, lighting, next-generation batteries, as well as integrated heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. And because OLED Lighting is one of the most promising lighting technologies today, LG Chem will also focus on developing raw materials for OLED Lighting products. read more

LG 15-inch EL9500 OLED hands on at ISE-2010

At the ISE-2010 LG Electronics show also the world largest OLED Panel the EL9500. It is a 15 inch AMOLED-TV LG Display named EL9500 . The LG staff at the booth told us the same like the CES-2010 staff. LG Display want to introduce the AMOLED-TV middle 2010 in the United States. At the moment the management doesn’t make any decision right now about the market entry in europe. read more
