Samsung prices TL500, TL350, AQ100 and SL605 shooters
Samsung has just visited a bunch of data sheets upon us, and we’ve drawn out a few as yet unknown numerals regarding pricing and availability of the shooters it showed off at PMA this year . The TL500 above, swiveling AMOLED screen and all, will set buyers back $449 this spring when it’ll be joined by its junior sibling, the TL350 , which will cost $349. Both shooters offer RAW support and dual image stabilization, though funnily enough the cheaper 350 model offers 1080p video recording whereas the gaudier TL500 makes do with 640 x 480. If you’re after something a bit more durable, the scratch-proof and rubberized SL605 will set you back only $129, while the all-weather AQ100 gets a $199 sticker, with both expected in that same spring release window. Phew, aren’t you glad you know all that now? Samsung prices TL500, TL350, AQ100 and SL605 shooters originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 09 Mar 2010 10:58:00 EST. Samsung’s Cetus SGH-i917 sashays into FCC database, winks seductively at AT&T

AT&T came right out and confessed that it would be ” the premiere carrier ” for Windows Phone 7 , and while it’s obviously far too early to say if that’ll be the case, this ain’t a bad way to start proving one’s point. Samsung’s Cetus (SGH-i917) was just recently confirmed to be one of the first commercial Windows Phone 7 devices last week, and now the always-disclosing FCC database has shed even more light on the phone’s intentions. Based on the mention of 850 / 1,900MHz frequency support — and that whole “SGH-i917 (ATT)” marking on the label — it’s pretty safe to assume that this 4-inch, AMOLED-packin’ superphone will soon be fighting with the iPhone 4 for shelf space. There’s obviously no indication of when Ma Bell plans on releasing this one to the wilds, but it’s typically not too far out after hitting this milestone. Giddy yet? iSupply: The 3.7" AMOLED in the Droid Incredible costs $31.2

iSupply has published a teardown analysis of the HTC Droid Incredible , saying that the phone costs $163 to make. They say that the AMOLED display (Samsung’s 3.7″ 480×800) costs $31.20. This is rather strange, as back in January, they claimed that the same display, used in Google’s Nexus-One phone costs $23.5 . HTC Incredible So maybe the costs went up (because of Samsung’s short supply). Back in January, iSupply estimated that the Touch Interface costs $17.75 . So maybe the cost of both the touch and the AMOLED went down, and now they cost $31.2 together? The HTC Incredible is now shipping for Verizon’s network in the US – and it costs $99 with a new service plan (if you want to use an existing plan, it’ll cost $530 ). read more
