Samsung Display spun-off from Samsung Electronics, to merge with SMD
Samsung Display , the world’s largest display maker has been officially spun off from Samsung Electronics today. There are reports that on July Samsung Mobile Display (SMD) will be merged into Samsung Display. A 7-inch Super AMOLED prototype SD will have two display units: LCD and OLEDs, but it’s focus will be on the OLED unit.
