Philips Expands OLED Lighting Collection with Lower Prices

Philips announced their plans to renovate their online store specifically created to cater to OLED lighting demands. Dietrich Bertram, head of Philip’s OLED operations in Aachen says: ‘All feedback has been good. No complaints. And no one has said there is no place for OLED lighting, when comparing with LED lamps for instance. But someone did say the price was too expensive.’ read more

According to Eldar Mertazin there will be a couple of new smartphones that will come with Samsung’s new and very own smartphone OS called Bada. Though only a few details were released, it was said that the phones will run on Snapdragon at 1 GHZ, will sport 3.7 AMOLED WVGA touchscreens and 5 mp autofocus cameras. Furthermore, these phones will also have the usual features like WiFi, GPS and HSPA. Prices: Galaxy2 will cost around $650 and the S8200 in the $575 range. read more
